[Forum] Updates 7-28

Hey guys so I'm just making some long needed changes to the forums today, no need to freak out when you see some new stuff, just hoping to organize things a little bit more, and make things a bit more exciting. I'll keep you updated as I get things done.


List of Updates-

1. We deleted the flash category and moved every post from the forums in that category to one section now called "Flash Discussion". Funny enough, it still has hardly any posts...

2. We made a large amount of changes to the display order on the forums. We put the Help Section and Introductions and Farewells just below the news section. We felt like we needed it to be seen as soon as new players logged on, in hopes of getting some more forum activity. Also we separated out a number of the miscelanious sections that we just felt didn't belong in the general section. After that I tried to put everything in a more logical order, keeping in mind how frequently different sections are used.

3. We've enabled the reputation system. This will allow you to see who the more respected members of the community are, and who it might be wise to avoid. You can receive either positive or negative reputation points based upon the content of your posts. So spammers beware because I see some bad rep coming to a post near you. If you would like to view some of your reputation comments, and see what level you are at, all you have to do is check your user profile. As an added note, all rules still apply with the reputation system. If you cuss someone out in a reputation message, even though they can't see who you are, I CAN, and I won't mess around with bans. So please use it wisely. If you abuse it, you'll lose it.

4. We gave our Pawn Moderators access to change their title. We figure it's one of the few small perks they get for doing such an excellent job.

5. We enable the post reporting system. Now, if you see a bad post on the forums, you can report it to bring it to the moderator's attention. This should help cut down on spamming, flaming, swearing, and just about every other offense that is ban worthy on the forums.

We intend to keep adding more updates as the week progresses, along with taking care of some other housekeeping issues. We'll keep you informed.
