Maybe you could edit them to make some of the points more defined?

Try working on making to focal stand out more.
In these you have put stuff over it and you loose the focal point.
Also try useing some c4d's
Fairly good for a first, Read some more tutorials.

1st i like blending with render.

For ur first 3, those are good.

The first one looks like copper paper money. But still pretty good.

The second one, well, the render doesn't stand out that well.

The third one IMO, sucks. But still alright for a beginner like you.

try too not cover the render with a filter or pattern. Also try to get a good focal point too base all of your work off of. You should read up on some good tuts at pr or something. It will help you dramtically
