Personally, I find this to be the best weekend in football. Super Bowl is epic, but I like Championship Weekend better. Well, lets get to the games.
NFC Championship Game:
Philadelphia Eagles @ Arizona Cardinals
So far, I've been the only one picking the Cardinals to win in the playoffs. Why stop now? Even with all the experience that the Eagles will bring, University of Phoenix Stadium is gonna be absolute BANANAS. I think it will be 90% Cardinal fans. That Cardinal O has not slowed down, while their D has stepped up, shutting down two great running teams in Atlanta and Carolina. Their secondary had a field day with Delhomme picking him off 5 times. I don't think they will get 5, but they will get at least 2. The Eagles have been looking sharp, but their running game has not. Very high scoring, one for the ages. Like T.O. says "Get yo popcorn ready"
Arizona:38
Philadelphia:31
AFC Championship Game:
Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers
For the third time, these two defenses collide. The Steelers swept the Ravens, but the games were epically close. A 23-20 Overtime win and a 13-9 win in the final minute of the rematch. I don't think you can beat a team THREE times in one season, so I will stick to my belief. The Ravens have been clicking on offense as of late, Flacco has not looked like a rookie to me. Rothlisberger(yes I copied and pasted his name :P) is gonna get hammered by this defense, and they WILL force turnovers. Low scoring game here, but the Steelers not so great home record in the AFC Title game continues to get worse
Baltimore:17
Pittsburgh:14
Let's get the ball rolling.
Note:
Unless an extremely serious injury happens to the teams I have picked, I won't be changing the picks. I don't like picking the games this early because something could happen. Let's hope not.
Note 2:
