Just wondering if anyone's downloaded it yet. Someone brought a laptop to class today and I got the chance to mess around with it, but only for like 15mins.

A friend of mine downloaded it, and I tried it out for a bit the other day. From what I saw personally and have read so far, it runs very smooth, and fixes many of the errors.. or things that people disliked about Vista.

In my opinion, Microsoft's actually done well on this one.

The name is dumb, might as well give it a cooler name.....

Anybody have a time when it will be on sale???

Oh yah does it have anything thats a huge change, such as linux-like window physics or multiple workspaces???

LOTS of bugs removed, better organization and huge system changes. like rendering 3d objects without a gpu

I'm d/ling it atm. 2.5GB then I gotta install it on a VM :(
