Yeah, since my main computer is down, I wont be on pawn as much...
The story is, I finally was able to get a computer in my room right? The whole time im thinking *Yay 24/7 pawn!*
Turns out that im wrong...
My computer monitor fails for some reason. It shows the windows XP startup and the little loading bar when I turn on the computer, but then when it finishes loading, the monitor shuts off and goes into this "Monitor test" thing. (You know, when you leave the computer on standby while the monitor is still on? And it shows that little box saying that the monitor is working...)
Anyway it does that and I cant even make it to the login screen on my computer. Wires are all plugged in...
I'll post a help thread in tech discussion to see if anyone can help...
Things I've tried:
-Using the second monitor plug
-Made sure like 100 times that the plugs are all plugged in correctly.
-Tried using another monitor
Can any of you guys help?

Most monitors have a little menu button on the monitor itself.
Can you go on the monitor menu?
Maybe you can find the problem through that.

Use the settings on the monitor and change the res as LOW as you can go. If it doesn't do that it's either your hardware's fault, or your OS is incompatable with your monitor. If so, try a unix-like OS(They're epic) like Linux, or a Unix based one, like Mac. Linux is better for security but Mac comes with more programming language. Linux does come with FF3 preinstalled with it... so i'd go with Linux if it's the OS's fault. Mainly because mac's are unix based and can be a huge pain in the... because they're nothing like Windows at all.

If you can't access the menu the monitor is crap.

i had a monitor problem last year, it IS graphics card being fried,
you'll need a replacement, at the same time buy a few upgrades to avoid extra shipping fee when you do upgrade again

To my knowledge they do not, it would be helpful if you could link me to your actual model of your computer, that way I could find out which one is best for you.

The Best Buy online store does.
Wal-mart doesn't.
Your best bet would be tiger direct or amazon.
