Every game this weekend is a rematch of a game earlier this season, apart from the Eagles/Giants which is a third meeting between the NFC East rivals. Time to pick the games :O.
Baltimore Ravens @ Tennessee Titans.
They met back in week 5, with the Titans getting a 13-10 win in Baltimore. Each QB threw a pair of picks, but Collins led the Titans on an 80-yard drive to take the lead with under three minutes. The rematch will probably be even lower in the scoring, as these defenses are smack you in the mouth type of defenses. Turnovers should be plentiful, especially with Ed Reed back in the Ravens secondary. I think the Ravens on the hot streak will take down Collins and the Titans.
Baltimore:10
Tennessee:6
Arizona Cardinals @ Carolina Panthers
These two teams met in Carolina back in week 8, with Carolina scraping by the Cards 27-23. Arizona had that game in Control most of the game, just some horrid tackling form their defense allowed a 21-point third quarter for the Panthers. The so-called "soft" D of Arizona held Carolina's run game in check only allowing 118 yards, with 108 to Williams. No one is picking Arizona, but I will not bail on my team now. I believe that Arizona will toughen up on D and will score at will. I'll take the upset.
Arizona:24
Carolina:20
Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants
The game of the weekend. They split the season series, with the road team winning each matchup. The Eagles are on a hot streak so far, and the G-Men went into the playoffs stumbling, but they did have basically everything wrapped up by December. No Burress for Manning to go to in the clutch may come back to bite them, especially now. Their running game was shut down in the Eagles 20-14 win back in week 14. I really like Philly right now, so I'll take them to "upset" the defending champs.
Philadelphia:21
New York:17
San Diego Chargers @ Pittsburgh Steelers
11-10. That was the final score when these two met in Heinz Field in week 11. The score may seem like the game was close, but it really wasn't. Pittsburgh moved the ball at will, nearly doubling the total yardage the Chargers put out in the snow. I don't see the weather getting any better in January. Darren Sproles had a great game against the Colts, but I highly doubt he will do the same against the #1 defense in the NFL. Steelers win big.
Pittsburgh:27
San Diego:13
If you disagree, or think I am a nutjob and want to win some easy credits, start placing your bets.
