Eggowaffle has made guides on how to remove these things

spysweeper.net

download the trial, or buy it w/e and this has been used by Verizon and has helped me remove trojans and spyware

i even got a "doubleclick" spyware

after it scans, which may take an hour, you can remove them all

dood wtf is wrong with you, get Verizon FIOS, it costs way more, but you get 20 MBPS

thats 20 (twenty) megabytes PER SECOND

or at least get DSL even that costs way less than Dial up

I heard you can remove this with Revo Uninstaller,Spyhunter and even that "Add or Remove" tool on the Control Panel.

No because if you enter the file that you want to remove and it is infected the infection will not be quarantined and you will become even more infected

No.

The Add and Remove tool will remove Antivirus 2008,but not completely. Why? It still has the Zlob virus or Antivirus 2008 had hidden files that the Add and Remove tool couldn't find and remove it.

So everytime when you reboot = Dead computer

Only Revo Uninstaller can fully uninstall it,and Spyhunter can do the both things. (Remove Zlob and his assistants and also the hidden Antivirus 2008 files.)

You're on the tech team, and you've never heard of Antivirus 2009? Quite possibly the most infamous form of malware going around right now?

And by the way, unless you want to reformat your computer completely, i.e. wiping EVERYTHING off, the only way you can remove this infection is by downloading certain programs.

Download both of the following programs. They're not large programs, so even your dial-up should be able to download it moderately.

Malware Bytes

Size: 2.42 MB
Download: http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

SuperAntiSpyware

Size: 5.55 MB
Download: http://www.download.com/SUPERAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html

After downloading and installing both of the above, reboot into safe mode, and run AT LEAST one full scan using each. Although, you should run a couple with each to be safe. Remove whatever it is they find.

It's critical you run these scans in safe mode, as all scans are more effective from Safe Mode.

Get that. Instant spyware deleter, the most effective, it weighs pros and cons for you and lets you decide if you want or not.
