Adobe Flash Player..

I've posted like 5 threads of this, but no decent answer.

I keep getting a message..

"It looks like you don't have the latest Adobe Flash Player." Click here to get it."

I downloaded it, like 10 times (I have a folder full with it) and it still says the same one.

This usually happens to me on Firefox 3.0.5 and Internet Explorer 8 Beta

I think the problem is the flash plug-in in Firefox/Internet Explorer which hasn't been updated.
I would think downloading flash again would change this, but I guess not..

When you get the error message, do you click it?
Or do you go directly to adobe and download it from there?

Try the 'Click here to get it' link in the error message, and download it from there.
If this doesn't work, I suggest downloading FF/IE again - it might come with the latest plug-in.


I'm sure there's a way to update only the plugin, but I'm not quite sure how.

Yeah, I downloaded it directly from the site.

hmmm have you extracted it(don't think you need to)
on firefox go to downloads and double click it and oyu also may need to restart your pc for it to fully be updated.
