Help Slow internet

Lately, I've been having slow internet service, causing lag in games like Combat Arms and Pawn. Can someone tell me how I can speed it up?

My ISP is verizon, and I use IE. Can't download any new browsers because its my mom's computer...

You could go to Control Panel>Network Connections and choose your local area then go to Support and click repair.

Maybe clearing your cache by going to Tools>Delete Browsing History>Temporary Internet files can help.
