America is not what media portrays it to be, very high murder rate, inflation, plagued with corruption, I think worlds highest obesity rate, the list goes on.
NOT the land of opportunity, the jobless rate is amazingly HIGH.
No offense but america is a dump. Not being mean but with the money fall and all that it is probably the worst place to live right now. Australia is better anyway >_>

Theres a LOT of foreign countries with 80+ obesity rates. We're not the highest.

So were like what, 79%?
Seriously, if I ever go to a bigger town, like 90% of the people I see are way obese.

New York City.
Best City In The World.
OMFG, NO, I do not want to hear your GF problems!!! >.<
Oh, I see. Well, you know, America isn't do so well right now. Bad economy, less jobs, a lot of bad stuff happening. Better off going somewhere else.
No offense but america is a dump. Not being mean but with the money fall and all that it is probably the worst place to live right now. Australia is better anyway >_>
Wow. For someone who's never been here, you are sure knowledgeable... I know its tough not to be an ignorant pisshead, but do try.
Anyway, some places that are fun to visit.
1. (21 years or older only) Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pros:
- Gambling
- Beautiful Casinos/Structures
- Awesome Nightlife
- INCREDIBLE SHOWS (They will leave your mouth hanging open)
- Convenient Location (Near Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and not to far from LA)
Cons:
- Lots of drunk idiots
- You don't win in the casinos, ever.
- Some of the nicer hotels can get a tad pricey
Notes: Been to Vegas 7 times. My favorite place to stay is probably Paris. Its pretty centrally located, has a beautiful hotel, and the rooms are reasonable. And of course the replica of the Eiffel Tower, which gives you a great view of the city at night.
2. Grand Canyon
Pros:
- Most amazing views in the world
- Grand Canyon Skywalk (google it)
- Great hikes
- Heli tours, boat tours, bus tours, etc...
Cons:
- Pretty out of the way. About an hour from Vegas
- Tours can get pricey
Only been once, but it was breathtaking. If you have a day to spare, visiting the GC and Hoover dam is not a bad way to spend it. Beware of the drive, traffic can get slow.
3. San Francisco, California
Pros:
- Beautiful City - I easily rank it in the top 5 American cities
- Great History/Heritage
- Full of landmarks
- Great culture - Museums, galleries, dining, shopping, etc..
Cons:
- Can get chilly in winter, but nothing to bad
Probably my favorite city other than Denver. Really the only other place i would consider living. Really left an excellent impression on me.
4. Miami, Florida
Pros:
- Great weather
- Beaches, beaches, beaches
- Shopping (For Women)
- Did i mention beaches?
- Not to many landmarks, or famous places, but the water tour of millionaires row was fun, or just to get out on a boat period. The intercoastals can take you anywhere.
Cons:
- Not the friendliest place on earth
- Some areas of extreme poverty - Usually you wont encounter them, but you'll see your fair share of bums, etc...
Been to Miami 5 times, and my uncle owns a beach side condo in Sunny Isles Beach. Great place to go if you want to kick back, relax, and get yourself a nice tan.
Those are just a few places i would recommend, as Ive personally been to them. I can go into detail about things to do/see if you need too, i just didn't know what your looking for.

Nice to see you mentioned my 4 favorite places in America =)
Las Vegas is really nice, the Caesars Palace is a nice hotel.
Very big, also in Las Vegas you should visit the MGM shows.
Acrobats... Very nice.
Hawaii and the Caribbeans are also a very nice place to visit.
Been there and I loved it.
Though Pawngame isn't really the right place to ask "Where to visit questions". You should search google or in tour-websites.
I'd go to England, was it where the cops don't carry guns?
Yeah, that place, I'd move there.
No...they have guns. However move to south america and there cops have machine guns. O_o

Don't just give up on your dream just because a few people on the internet said so. Just a tip, a lot of people will tell you that America sucks. This is mostly because our president George Bush has been a stupid president and has hurt America's image in the world.
But all Americans are NOT arrogant, NOT all fat. And even if we were, are you really going to take the size of people's bellies into account when judging a country?
But as for where in America to go to, I don't know. It would depend on if your planning on going to collage there and what sort of career your planning to pursue.
If your planning on becoming a cook or a chef, then I'd go with Philadelphia in the state of Pennsylvania. Philadelphia has a lot of excellent culinary schools. Philadelphia also has a lot of good art schools if your planning to become and artist.
If you want to get into marketing and economics, then go to New York. New York City is the major business.marketing/economic center for the whole country.
But as you may know, the American economy is going through a recession. That means that the economy is having major problems, so loads of people are losing their jobs and its more difficult to get a job. The prices of food are going up, and the prices of gas used to be going up hugely but have recently been falling back the normal price. But everything else is becoming more expensive all the time.
So if I were you, I'd wait and hope that the economy gets better before you turn 18. If it gets better, come on over. But if it gets worse, then I'd advise that you stay in your own country with your friends and family.
Come to Canada.
We have Bacon and Syrup.

It is unadvisable that you should come over to America right now.
The worth of the American dollar has gotten considerably lower than the Canadian currency, and due to economic recession which has hit America the hardest, unemployment rates have increased and it is increasingly difficult to try to find jobs nowadays.
As some have said, try waiting until this recession blows over and then come over to America if you want to.
In a joking manner, I suggest Alaska, the government pays you to live there.
However, I suggest Pennsylvania and Virginia for living. It has suitable prices for a home for people moving in wether they be immigrants or not.
And it is quite enjoyable to watch the natural habitats/parks and historical landmarks.
(Interesting fact: Immigrants (Illegal and Legal) from Mexico moving to the United States have dropped by 25% since the recession.)
