View Full Version : Your favorite alcoholic drink?

Before anyone reads this, this is not about getting drunk. This is simply about any alcoholic drinks that you like or dislike and why.
The only alcoholic drinks I've ever tried are Guinness beer and some sort of peach-cream wine. I didn't like the taste of either of them. The Guiness beer was just flat out the worst liquid I've ever tried, the first thing that came to my mind was oil sludge, lol. And the Peach-cream wine had a strong bitterness to it that I really didn't like.
However I am hoping that Samuel Adams beer will taste good. It looks great in the commercials.
So what about you?

Well, for me alcohol such as in wine, which I've only drank two times in special occassions I like for those things.
But as in beer and alcohol as a whole being drank daily or often, I dislike that.
Alcohol fogs the mind and I'd rather not have that and go to AA meetings.
Though, I did love the white wine.

Only drank 2 different things, beer, and wine.
I'd prefer wine.
And only had both added up 3 times, first was beer, by accident, was 3 and a half, couldn't read what the cooler said.

Beer hands down.
I prefer Lager to Bitter. More taste.
Vodka shots aren't half bad though.
Tequilla is horrible though. Ugh.
I'm 15 ;)

out of beer n stuff, id say fosters
lager is good, but even better is lager and lime :p

I would pefer Shots then beer/wine because beer makes me puke and before anyone commetns under me saying "Wow who throws up over beer"... i have a week stomach (Some times) and it just makes me tipsy i like shots better then anything else not becuase it makes any one drunk faster just becuase i like the taste of it and i never tried wine once i would pefer a good aged wine thats what i hear but anyways i am only 15 so i don't drink that much >.>

A few months ago i drank too much and woke up on my friends couch and my head hurt like a female dog. Only to find the couch next to me was soaked in pee that was mine. My friend told me i stood on the table started dancing, whipped it out, and took care of business. Never Drink Underage.
If ur 21 or over. What the hell get buzzed :D

Maybe.
On this country (Spain,OMFG KILL ME) only 18-years-old are legal to drink and get drunk.

Beer is fine. I don't drink often though...just like 3 and I'm done. Any beer, I ain't picky. That's where I draw the line though

Port, Red wine, both are alright.
Drink for social reasons, don't drink to get drunk.

like seriously, im underaged.
But this Christmas, my cousins made a bet that my uncle could drink a Clamato® in one hour. =)
If you dont know what a clamato is, its a tomato and shellfish flavored beer.

Basically anything that destroys the liver im down with.
Me = Canadian & legal drinkin' age, heffaz.

Meh, it really depends what mood im in and why im drinking.
If im at the bar watching hockey, i usually go with beer. Usually a Bud, but it can vary. Ill also usually fit a shot sometime during the night.
If im drinking with friends socially, ill usually stick with something fun like Mikes Hard, or a German/Mexican beer. I like Carona alot. Usually no hard stuff.
If im drinking for the sole purpose of getting drunk, i go hard liquer. Im a big vodka fan, and have probably tried 20-25 different variations, from probably 10 different countries. It may sound tacky, but Smirinoff is actually one of my favorites.
While Ive tried stuff like Baileys, Captain Morgan, Jim Beam, Jack Daniels, etc... Its just not my style. Its fun to try, just to experience it, but im not going to go out and buy them.

Or margaritas, The are kinda.... girly or something, but I still like them.
This thread is pushing on inappropriate, as long as you aren't PROMOTING minors to drink I guess it is technically okay..

Theres actually nothing wrong with drinking even if your underaged, just as long as you don't get drunk. Like just a small glass every now and then.
Actually, the reason so many people go getting drunk is because our society emphasizes avoiding it so much. People begin to see it as some sort of forbidden pleasure, so its like a mystery. And its just too hard to resist something like that, a forbidden mystery. So once people turn 21, its like "This has been forbidden all my life, and I've waited my whole life to try it. Now its not forbidden anymore so I'm gonna go and drink loads of the stuff, YAY!!!".
Like in Italy, pretty much everybody has a small glass of wine with dinner every night. And people have been drinking very moderately like that since they were 5 years old. So its not a mystery to them, so they don't go getting drunk.
Its drugs that really has no point and is just gonna ruin you, not alcohol.
