MLP is the newest tourney to hit pawn, judged by yours truly. It's a rather complex tournament with a huge prize: A ticket for your WHOLE team into the brand new crew i'm working on!
Now, a team is 3 people. Once you have your team made, register the LEADER(Vital vital thing, if you have no leader you cannot participate). Once you have a team registered and we have exactly 16 teams we will go. It starts with the elimination, all 16 teams are paired up on the KD average of the team. Remember- to qualify you MUST be at least a blue star(to stop alts from bringing the KD average down). Say Eilios was in with a KD of 1.70 and he brought two of his friends in all with KDs of 1.50, the KD average will be equal to 1.56666667. Rounded off this is 1.57. Now, there are two teams, one with a KD average of 1.17(.40 off) and one with a KD average of 1.97(.40 off). You will fight the lower one, but it it was like 1.16 instead you would be forced to take on the tougher team(yikes).
The actual tournament
The tournament itself is a complex, living creature.

Once you are actually done with this, you are sent into a "Qualifier", this will merely test your skills. However if you fail ZIP. Once you pass the qualifier you are treated to some roast pheasant and given the maps you will be forced to fight(and challenge) on. This way your team can practice strategies and figure out chokepoints(you will need them), the next battle is another 3v3 using one of the 5-6 maps you are given(One of them will be a maze, one a dig, keep a mental hint on that). Win. If you lose you will be forced into the "Loser's Circle" where you have ONE last chance to redeem yourself with a fun game of pawn trivia. If you win you can challenge the team that beat you to a rematch and if you win take their place. But of course the trivia is hard, and to make it a penalty for losing... if you even miss a SINGLE question (And still pass the 70% required mark) you lose one guy. :/
After this the players will have a relaxing maze contest, for fun. Happily, this is not an elimination, but whoever can sucessfully beat it the fastest(it's pretty simple) wins a veto. A veto simply allows you to switch places with any other team, so you can take on a much weaker team. The next elimination will be a 1v1 between ALL of the leaders. Leaders - better be prepared for some Light's Out action. This is what you're going to get; if your leader loses, you ALL lose. We have left from 16-8(The qualifiers) and only have 24 people left. Soon to be 12. This comes with a difficult price, the two lowest teams have to forfeit a member from their team. Now comes the fun part. The MASSIVE battle. Remember the two teams of two? Yeah, well it's a 10 people fight now. It's not a free for all, just an overall fun fight on Castle War. =D. Simply put, elimination, no spawning. Whoever dies, dies. Whoever gets in the first or second worst is given a number based on how he wins.
EG: If you were the first to die, you would get the number 10; because the two forfeited are 12 and 11. Then the second to die would get 9, the third 8, fourth 7th, etc. The last to die will get #1 spot.
I am number 13. At the end, you will be invited into an epic clan of superpros for pros only - a prize for winning this tournament and being a great player.
