Textures?

I just found out about textures, and I've been messing around with how to use them exactly. Here's a few examples of how I personally used them. (Remember they're first attempts, lol).

Texture + Multiply/whatever layer thing looks good = profit

Mostly just added some Cracked Ground textures to his neck and put them on Overlay. Then deleted what wasn't on the skin.

Erase a bit on his neck with a soft brush.

Other tag,

lower the opacity on the texture.
