1.) Are you an active member of the Pawn Community, on the game and the forums?
Yes, I get on game a lot and play in custom maps for practice, and I am on forums every day.
I love the forums, they have a section for everyone, techies, sports enthusiasts, in general where you can debate and talk about whatever is within the rules, places for mazes and other maps, I love that the users can actually be a part of teams that are set aside for certain skill sets such as map making teams, I love it.
In game is great to, the community in the lack of in game updates has proven it's creativity, dig maps, multi assaults, zombie, yes, even zingball, and I love every bit of it.
2.) Do you actively help users in the Pawn Community?
Yeas, I do help people when the answer they are looking for is in my knowledge, but most of the time when someone needs help hurri has already posted the correct answer, he is a very quick helper :D
I help people in mazes in game a lot, like if someone if flaming them and calling them a noob and they get confused as to why, I would gladly tell them some about spacing and repetitiveness etc.
3.) If part of your job is asked to be kept secret, can you be trusted to do so?
Yes, I keep many of my friends big secrets, and I can keep any secret to myself from anyone, as long as it isn't pawn related and breaking a rule.
I know a couple friends apsswords, but it makes me uneasy to do so, but they don't change their password because they trust me.
5.) Will you handle yourself in a professional manner, no matter the circumstance?
I can, I do quite frequently in game act completely mature while someone is breaking every rule they possibly can, and I find it sometimes makes them angrier, and they start spamming/flaming more.
Sometimes I feel the best way is to prove what they are saying is wrong, and it makes them stop.
Some people call that unprofessional, but when one person and spamming/flaming/cussing, usually someone follows along with them sooner or later.
6.) Are you willing to give up playing time to help users?
Yes, I do that quite often, especially in zombie maps and digs, people seem to get really confused in zombie matches why one team doesn't shoot, and I'd spend like 6 minutes explaining the rules and basic concepts.
Same with mazes, people get confused why OPGMs are no nos, or why pk's seem to be l;uck for some and easy as ehck for others.
Or even in 1v1ing, in 1v1s with newer people, I would tell them some strategys in lights out, like why the bucket of death is BAD to be in if you aren't used to it , or the very bottom where two refills in middle are is BAD to be in, and best way to ladder snipe, etc.
7.) Did you notice there wasn't a #4?
I did not the first time I read the questions, I was 100% focused on the questions themselves, and nothing else.
8.) How old are you? (Don't lie)
16
9.) Do you understand what your duty as a Pawn Assistant entails?
Yes, I do. Asisting people when it is neccesary, as in when the question has not already been fully answered, or when the question entaisl soemthing I actually have knowledge of, or even if I don't say ingame, recomendeing someone that does.
Like when Domino was still active ingame a lot, if I didn't know a maze move, I would say if Dom is online, you can ask him for some help, but don't spam or beg him if he says no for now.
10.) Why are you interested in becoming a Pawn Assistant?
Well, I like helping people, and I;'ve been asked ebfore ingame why I haven't applied yet, and some people have asked when I say I can try to help if I was a PA, and whern I say no, they leave the room, or ignore me and look for a PA. They seem to be able to help more efficiently. Also, the rule bot has great potental to get people to realize that say Spamming is something you can get banned for, if I tell someone that they can get banned for spamming, they act like they hadn't heard me, and I've seen a PA do really close to this.
"PLease stop spamming."
contineus spam
"uses rule bot."
0MFG A MSG FROM SHARPY, HE WAS SERIOUS!
-stops spamming-
11.) Do you submit yourself to this user group and all its rules, understanding that breaking said rules will result in being banned for an undetermined amount of time? (Have to scare the noobs away. :] )
I, TheLife, fully submit myself to the user group of Pawn Assistants, and full comprehend that breaking the rules may result in a ban for 1 day, or forever, and that I was not scared away by this question.
