Dont you hate it when you get Kill stolen from over and over, or even once?

Rules for Assist Points

second to last person to shoot at enemy gets 2 points

if there is more than one user shooting at once enemy, the first rule still applies, if the 3rd to last person shoots the enemy they get nothing

when you press Shift on your keyboard, to look at the score, there will be a new colum for Assists if you have 1 assist you got 2 points for it, if you got 2 assists you have 4 points and so on

when you type /stats in the chatroom you will see Assists and the number you got, this also applies to the World Rank

if you die then some one gets your kill within 4 seconds of your last shot on that enemy, you get an assist, but if the enemy refilles, you get nothing, if its past 4 seconds of your shot on that enemy and some one else gets the kill you get an assist

I was going to suggest it but now I don't have to because you did it for me, ty :). I think it's a great idea because people wouldn't be as pissed when someone takes their kill.

it just would cause everyone to carry a p90 and try to weaken their oppenents, all tactics and stratagy would be lost.

I believe that Call of Duty 4, has an Assist System, where actually any one who shoots at an enemy gets an assist, but after some time of shooting him, you wont get an assist.

who says anything about a P90, the goal is to get the kill, i would rather be mad that i got an assist, less mad than being kill stolen, but at least i got something

I dont see how its hard to set up, nor how it will cause more lag, define "wing about it need to gtfo"?
