you gotta work on your lighting and the contrast
colors need a tad bit of work too.

on the 2nd one its kinda light and 1st 1 is to dark but other then that there really good.

It looks a tad bit overcontrasted to me. It's pretty good. Looks pretty simple to make which is what makes it all the better because i like simple. :)

best way to desaturate:
new layer, apply image.
bnw g map
invert it and set on color
more contrast and bleh

That made me lol... lol... Anyways, B/w is the best version because the coloring seems a bit messed up. It's pretty good, but work on coloring and lighting, as the other said.
