D2S Just Joined Combat Arms! (A Few questions)

Just registered to nexon and Im downloading CA now!

Seems like Soldier front doesnt work for me so I'm quitting that crap...

So, In past experiences, I've learned to look before leaping.

So before I play CA Anything I need to know?

1) What weapons should I buy/Use?

2) Is the game hard to get used to?

3) Will ArabFTW add me to his list?

4) Will I have to pay for ANYTHING AT ALL? I.e. Special weapons, nades etc...

5) What type of game modes are there? I.e. TDM, FFA, Terrorist vs CT etc..

6) Any glitches? Hacks? Known issues with starting the game?

Update: I just played my FIRST game!!! Here are the results!

I EVEN GOT THE FINAL KILL! I had two double kills and two headshots. I think some of my soldier front skills transferred over xD!

Stick to the default M16 and upgrade off that( Scope + extended mag)
2) Is the game hard to get used to?
Nope its very easy to learn
3) Will ArabFTW add me to his list?
If he isnt cranky at the time then yeah

Nope its all free cept the new merc that costs like $10, i have no clue what its about but i dont think its worth it

Its all TDM from what ive seen
6) Any glitches? Hacks? Known issues with starting the game?
Its still in beta so there are a FEW hackers still out there but constant updates are preventing hackers from coming up. There is a slight lag where there are 16 players in a map but other then that its smooth

1) G36 - It rapes.
2) Not really. Just crouch and use your nades wisely.
3) Never.
4) You CAN pay, but it's pointless if you ask me. It's not like RS where you need to pay to get the good stuff.
5) There's Team Deathmatch, One Man Army (FFA), CTF, and S & D.
6) There are a couple glitches (usually after a new patch, they get fixed though) There are hackers, but there aren't that many. I personally have never played with any.

Correct.

Alt+tab lets you cycle through all the windows open ATM.

Ok everythings all good and well.

I just had to hit the start button on my keyboard and "Guess" my way to the logout button.

I logged back in and I found that the Norton anti-virus screen popped up a few times. After allowing a number of operations I managed to login and buy a heartbeat sensor and a new sniper rifle.

I'm not gonna try to play till tomorrow IF POSSIBLE.

Use... the rifle. I forget the name, but it isn't a sniper rifle.

I rapeee with it.

From my experience, the G36E, AK-74, SCAR, K2, L96, and the AUG A1 are all great weapons.

But if you want to save cash and only buy one guy, get the G36E. It owns at any range and has a built in scope, so you don't have to buy any!

Get the L96 if you want a one-shot kill sniper rifle. It's high in recoil, and very unaccuate, but if you have that sniping spiriting within you, it'll work out.

The SCAR is a relatively good weapon, though, it doesn't have much of the stopping power of the G36E. AK-74 and SCAR are both good for close-quarters combat. High rate of fire and relatively good stopping power.

My favorite is the AUG A1. Built in scope and it's kinda like the G36E. It's a bit more accuate, and it just has that cool look, feeling, and power that you get whenever you shoot.

I also won my first FFA game. It was also the first time I played FFA on CA!

I really think im at Semi-pro level now.

Eh, 16-13 is decent for your first game I suppose.

However, you're playing on the Recruit Server - which is mostly beginners. Wait till you get to the good people. ;)

... Some servers ARE seperated.. You can't get onto the Recruit server once you become an arrow..

And for gods sake, learn to speak so people can understand you. You don't need to have perfect grammar, but that is just ridiculous.
