still need more then one reference
try gimptalk.com or google gimptalk

u must nnot want to learn
because mreitz guides are good
but they dont give all ways of using gimps multiple features
such as usiing c4d's i think
Gimptalk shows all that stuff:
Blurring
Rendering
Boardering
layering
ect.........

media. i suggest reading every guide that tells u how to use gimp there is. Everyone is gonna tell you different things and teach u different tricks. so u can never read enough tuts in the begnining. anyways. i will like seeing you progress
