what's wrong with roofed x fall and +2 block long x fall?

Unless you know a method im not aware of they become seemingly ridiculous to time properly. I can only assume that as you fall there are intervals in which an X-Fall is possible, and that roofed and 3+ X-fall are somewhere in between those intervals making it significantly harder.

Dom's got the theory right on it.

Roofed xfalls(one space xfalls anyway) are different because when you hit your head on the top of the block you don't reach you maximum height so you fall at a different Y position and won't be in the right Y position when you reach crouch, adding extra blocks also makes it less likely to get(if not completely imposs in some cases) because you fall at a position so that you player's Y position will not be equal to that Y position needed to get in a crouch.

For those that don't know what I mean by Y positions, Y = vertical height along grid, X = horizontal.

But some xfalls with 3+ blocks between them are poss. I've done massive ones involving screen switchs, but I didn't count the blocks.

Domino. Radford thought of something that patterned the X-Fall. If you have a stack of even numbers their not luck they are just like the 2 stack. But, odd number of stacked blocks are impossible or maybe luck; I haven't been able to do odd yet.

It hasn't been luck since Puffer found it way back and then after dp found fallslide guitarguy and dp found out how to do it and started using it.

Say I wanted to do an X-Fall to the right ... like get crouch on the right like u guys did on your map so when my feet are just above the top block I press the opposite direction which would be A right?

By opposite direction i meant opposite from the direction you hit to begin falling. And your feet should be just above the top of the block your trying to land on when you hit it.

Domino. You still need to add that the even block count X-Falls are proper but not suggested. Such as 2 block then 4 blocks. They are the same just longer timing. As for the 3,5,7,9 and so on are not proper what so ever.

Its in the maze section, therefor you should assume its a maze guide.

Its describing a maze jump called "X-Fall", therefor you should assume its a maze guide.

Dude I bet no one will believe me. But a Long time ago me and my friends Knis made the jump X fall but we didn't claim. However we didnt have a good strategie. Lol aww. Now i'm trying to make a new jump but its hard.
