View Full Version : Freezing while booting.
Title says what is wrong, only freezes once, flick of power supply, flick on power supply, reboot, loads fine.
Sometimes it say's I'm missing a crucial registry file for it to boot, same thing as above, loads fine.
Sometime it freezes twice, same thing, loads fine.
Os: Xp Sp3
Whats wrong with it.
Don't say reformatt or anything like that, won't help, will still do this.

A reformat should fix all of his registry files, so that shouldn't help.
That could be a hardware problem. I remember something similar happened to me, and it turns out I needed to replace my motherboard. What are your hardware specs and how long have you had your PC?
I'm thinking more of a SP3 problem.
Fresh reformat, home edition boots fine.
Sp2 boots fine.
Sp3 doesn't.

Screw sp3, I'm using xp with no service packs and it works great :D
Lol but msn doesn't work without sp2 at the least and alot of other programs are like that aswell.
