666 is actually a translation error from Arabic to Latin. The actual number is 616.

Man,I didn't fight that cooldude666 guy because I could tell by his name he was a loser.

well you did 24 hours of study did some math changed a number and you think your special since were do all these numbas come from like 1337, 1221, 666 i think a guy that was on crack made them up i dont see the purpose of numbers really o i lerned somin :)

I dont remember exactly where it is but, according to the bible its 666.

Also, the beggining of the song the number of the beast from iron maiden is saying a part of that bible verse.

the number 666 has had many relations to the satan and other things and like you said it does translate to 616, which has another meaning in latin, which has been heavily stereotyped, and mislead to absolutely NOTHING, if people really saw it was 616 we may have connections to our future or some other crap, maybe icecream will rain down till the world freezes in the sugary mess, and everyone will die that way

You will very soon realize the first transcripts said 616.

There's so many conspiracies about this.

1. Its really 777 in Hebrew (says some jewish kid at my school)
2. Its really 555, mistranslations
3. Its really 667, some guy changed the last number because 667 related to him somehow...
4. Its really 616 mistranslations
5. Its really a metaphor.

Too much conspiracies on this subject, provide me with some link to something to prove your theory, until then I will continue with my theory that the number of the beast is irrelevant as knowing it will not change what happens.
1. 777 is the Irish joke about 666.
2. 555 is from a slipknot song.
3. 667 was never it.
4. 616 is the real Arabic-Latin translation.

According to Wikipedia there are two POSSIBLE numbers of the beast.

It says that although 666 is believed to be the number, evidence also points to 616.

i just realised i got mixed up. I'll look it up and change it at some point. but its something like a=10 b=11 whatever. Its something like that and it adds to 666
