As you all know I love computers. Just asking a simple question that will actually be on my computer.

I've heard Malwarebtyes is a really good antispyware program besides SUPERantispyware. I have Avast! 4.8 and I just want to know if Malwarebytes will interfere with the detection rate and what not. Just a little curious..

Thanks for reading and let me know! =D

(Any spam comments will result in infraction by a mod).. =/

Usually if it's just a scanning software you should be fine.

If there both running firewalls you might run into some trouble there.

You really shouldn't have more than one thing scanning at the same time.

(If thats what you are saying)

It could result in crashes, extreme lag, ETC.

No. What I mean is like Having Malwarebytes and Adaware 2008. I won't run both of them at the same time (That would be really idiotic) but I'm just asking if it would be ok if you have them both on one machine. Oh and also, I'm not sure if it will interfere with Avast! Antivirus 4.8 so yeah..

Bean, I don't have Zone Alarm firewall (It's so annoying -_-) but doesn't Malwarebytes have a firewall?

Thanks for the info already. =D

I don't know the specifics of every virus software, but you will be fine if all they do is scan, my dad has like 3 of them and he runs them at the same time. (He's kinda crazy about viruses lol)

You shouldn't have any problems,

if you don't run them at the same time.

Btw, If you were wondering why I was asking this question,
