Recent PawnGame Complaints

There have been some complaints about Pawn Game and it's main administrator, Blank101, lately.

Basically, most of the community is in revolt as a result of Blank101's ignorance towards Pawn Game, his first game. He moved on to another game, and it's very rare for him to login.

Lately, moderators are telling me to stop complaining, but usually are swearing at me.

Is that they are in denial? Is it that they hate complaints? Is it that Blank makes them support him publicly? Or perhaps, it is because the community is finally revolting, and they can't stand it. I really don't know.

However, I get PMs/conversations from mods and admins all the time saying to stop complaining so much. "I should be grateful for what Blank101 has already given." "Blank101 has a life, get over it." "Stop your b*tch*ng (this is a mod quote)" "If you have a problem, PM an administrator."

Well, I should and have been grateful. However, if you give a kindergartener a cookie, can you expect them to be grateful for it the next week, when they're hungry again? No. So, should you expect a gamer to be grateful for a game that has already been mastered, while the game is full of glitches, lag, suggestions, bugs, etc.? No.

Blank101 obviously has a life, and it's called Pawn Tactics. At first, he was too busy with "college", yet he had enough time to create a whole different game. How can we believe anything he says, now? Of course he shouldn't waste all of his time on PG, but he can obviously log in. He can obviously post a thread. He can obviously clean up the News section. He can obviously do dozens, even hundreds of things. It is that he chooses not to. He shouldn't be expected to act as a good, although he should be and is expected to take responsibility for what he created in the first place. Pawn Tactics couldn't exist with out us, so now that he no longer needs us for PT, he has abandoned us. At least JPillz logs in, helps users, replies, etc. Proof: I can now login as Albireo, while when I asked Blank101 for help, I received a lecture.

Have I no right to complain? If Blank101 thinks we are content with what we have, he will never come back. If he knows we are unsatisfied, he may actually give us what we want. Sure, maybe complaining makes him hate us. But what else can we do? Besides, the moderators are complaining about my complaints. Do not be a hypocrite!

If I have a problem, talk to an administrator like Blank? Okay. I sent about 3 PMs, and none of them have been read yet. On pawn tactics, I sent 2, and he replied with anger and excuses. So tell me, how many of problems have been solved?



I am not angry at the mods, I simply feel I have the right to complain, and so does the rest of the community. Vote on the poll and discuss if we should be allowed to complain without being threatened/lectured not to.

I agree. I don't care if Blank spends most of his time on PT but not all of it.
I'd be happy with an update every month or two. But how much he's been neglecting this site...it's pretty bad lol.
Also, he should accept suggestions and criticism to a certain extent. Not reply with anger and denial like you said he did.

Yes the fact is he has not been on Pawngame for a long time and has not thought about many updates to help our comunity. It is fine he is on Pawn tactics but he should spend more time on Pawngame then Pawn tactics.

I think Blank feels that he has done a lot for pawn, but yet doesn't get much in return(he really doesn't get much, just a few bucks off ads). He wants to move on with a new game, and try for higher goals, i also believe he has no idea what to do with pawn, what other things can possibly be added?

If this is how Blank truly feels about pawn, then i suggest a passing of the baton so to speak. Give some one that cares a lot for pawn, some one with the abilities to update and make better this game we play, some one that he can trust and work with, to give this some one the power to do these things. Who knows, maybe Blank hasn't found that person yet. Or has found them, but doesn't trust them enough, after all, pawn is his baby(I'm computer program terms.)


But i could be totally wrong, and Blank is just hateful :o

Blank seems to have forgotten us and most of the PawnGame community do not know why. Sure he has his hands full trying to get PT out of beta but do we not deserve a reason as to why he is never on, why we never get an update??

He was active during beta, however only at beginning. Around October he suddenly disappeared, but he at least told us what was going to be happening.

Well Blank has not abandoned us, why do you think he made this game...He made it for money, he's not going to let Pawngame become abandoned because it's really popular and Crazymonkeygames sponsors it and new people visit Pawn every single day because of that ad. Also I really think that once PawnTactic's out of Beta Pawngame will most likely have a humongous update but hey that's my opinion.

I think the poll is a little baist, for one, the mods are like celebrities and us users are the photographers always stalking them and raming our problems right up there azz, they hate it, i bet they dont enjoy it, and prejudice needs to stop if any, plus proof. I dont think mods get paid, especially for all that stress, and Blank101 definetly has a life, he cant spend so much time per day and, think about college, which reall defines his life is he does not get the degree in what ever he wants to go for, then after college he may have to pay student loans with most likely huge intrest rates, which may take more than 20 years to pay off, so pawn may even die in those 20 years, hopefully it wont.

MAYBE blank101 is making a HUGE make over for pawn game and we dont know it, slowly chipping away at his idea

Well, I say that Blank should update the game a couple more times, but after he's entitled to abandon it. The core gameplay would have already have been well established by then. Not to mention that Pawn Game is more of a mentally ill 2 years old, because we are only two years old and most glitches from beta are still here. I can't even play the game, nor can I login. Why? Because the lag literally kicks me off. It's not my computer, it's happened at my grandma's and cousin's houses as well. Why hasn't this been fixed? All he has to do is reset the server, which takes maybe 10 minutes.

If you call PawnGame a child, we need a new admin/guardian, because this is 100% child abuse.

O.o And the truth comes out.

Blank was lonely...one night he opened up Game Making for Dummies and began reading. After about an hour of solid reading Blank turned on his computer and made PawnGame. After several days of solid coding ( or w/e you do to make a game.) and no testing he released PawnGame to the world. Only to him...it wasn't just a game. It was...his future wife.

After 2 years in a loveless marriage Blank decided that it was time to reproduce...asexually. The child he spored was later named PawnTactic and to this day has made PawnGame's existent a living hell.

I have never disrespected nor will I ever disrespect Blank. He has done great thinks for PawnGame (i.e. creating it...duh.) I for one have no idea how to make a game. If I was to disrespect Blank I would be saying things like "Yo Blank you suck man. I hate you. You are a crappy game maker. This game sucks!" But there are several things wrong with that statement.
Blank does not suck, he just abandons stuff.
I do not hate Blank, but I do think that we should pressure him into making an update.
He is not a crappy game maker. This is one of the best multi-player online computer games I have ever played.
And this game does not suck.

All we are asking for is to be remembered. To get an update. To have Blank act like he cares about his first game and its players. I do not think that that is too much to ask for.

Sometimes. He just left. We cant do anything about it. Blank has a new game, And hes happy with it. It could be good if he gets on in both games. I dont like PT, But blank is there. Posting in User-made topics; Blank dosent post on User-made topics on PawnGame. It just means he maybe dosent like to go here. He wants people playing on both PG and PT. But how can we play if we dont recieve new updates, In PT, Like everyday theres an update. You can see Im comparing PG and PT. But I dont know. Blank abandoned us and theres nothing we can do. PawnGame will be dead someday if it gets stuck on Version 1.7. Making threads such as this one makes him sad. Or something. So maybe he dosent come back cause of us; He thinks we hate him. But I dont. I kinda understand his position. And yes, He has a life. But yes. Its good to have him back in here. We all want a message from him. But we cant expect that. Maybe one day, Blank might close Pawn.

People could have also have had the sense to just wait it out. If people had already asked him for an update, he would at least put it somewhere on his to do list. Wait it out? I, allong with the rest of the PawnGame community, have been waiting since May 2nd for a decent update. Not one with, oh YAY!!, destructable blocks. What good will those do? Will those solve the hacker, bug and glitches problem? NO. They will not. I have never flamed Blank. Get your facts straight before you go and post something as idiotic and thoughtless as that. Wait it out? I, allong with the rest of the PawnGame community, have been waiting since May 2nd for a decent update. Not one with, oh YAY!!, destructable blocks. What good will those do? Will those solve the hacker, bug and glitches problem? NO. They will not. I have never flamed Blank. Get your facts straight before you go and post something as idiotic and thoughtless as that. The comment wasn't directed towards you in particular(get your facts right, hypocrite), the whole community in general has constantly complained and everything. Well, whatever he was planning for PG is now on indefinite hiatus

There have been some complaints about Pawn Game and it's main administrator, Blank101, lately.

Basically, most of the community is in revolt as a result of Blank101's ignorance towards Pawn Game, his first game. He moved on to another game, and it's very rare for him to login.

Lately, moderators are telling me to stop complaining, but usually are swearing at me.

Is that they are in denial? Is it that they hate complaints? Is it that Blank makes them support him publicly? Or perhaps, it is because the community is finally revolting, and they can't stand it. I really don't know.

However, I get PMs/conversations from mods and admins all the time saying to stop complaining so much. "I should be grateful for what Blank101 has already given." "Blank101 has a life, get over it." "Stop your b*tch*ng (this is a mod quote)" "If you have a problem, PM an administrator."

Well, I should and have been grateful. However, if you give a kindergartener a cookie, can you expect them to be grateful for it the next week, when they're hungry again? No. So, should you expect a gamer to be grateful for a game that has already been mastered, while the game is full of glitches, lag, suggestions, bugs, etc.? No.

Blank101 obviously has a life, and it's called Pawn Tactics. At first, he was too busy with "college", yet he had enough time to create a whole different game. How can we believe anything he says, now? Of course he shouldn't waste all of his time on PG, but he can obviously log in. He can obviously post a thread. He can obviously clean up the News section. He can obviously do dozens, even hundreds of things. It is that he chooses not to. He shouldn't be expected to act as a good, although he should be and is expected to take responsibility for what he created in the first place. Pawn Tactics couldn't exist with out us, so now that he no longer needs us for PT, he has abandoned us. At least JPillz logs in, helps users, replies, etc. Proof: I can now login as Albireo, while when I asked Blank101 for help, I received a lecture.

Have I no right to complain? If Blank101 thinks we are content with what we have, he will never come back. If he knows we are unsatisfied, he may actually give us what we want. Sure, maybe complaining makes him hate us. But what else can we do? Besides, the moderators are complaining about my complaints. Do not be a hypocrite!

If I have a problem, talk to an administrator like Blank? Okay. I sent about 3 PMs, and none of them have been read yet. On pawn tactics, I sent 2, and he replied with anger and excuses. So tell me, how many of problems have been solved?



I am not angry at the mods, I simply feel I have the right to complain, and so does the rest of the community. Vote on the poll and discuss if we should be allowed to complain without being threatened/lectured not to.

I agree with BANGdead. Arguing, complaining, and all that crap is making the present situation even worse. The longer Blank stays angry, the longer you will have to wait for an update!

People could have also have had the sense to just wait it out. If people had already asked him for an update, he would at least put it somewhere on his to do list. After flaming and complaining, Blank is probably very displeased. Congratulations, any future PG updates have been delayed several more months!!!
