So in IT shop today our shop instructer had us each sign up for this so we can access our files from home and school. What it is is like a free flash disk. You sign up and they give you 5gb of file storage for free! Its kind of like photobucket, but for files. and it allows hotlinking!

I know most of you right now are probly saying, so what, just another free file hosting service, but its more than that! You can make private files and folders only visible to you, make shared files and folders that are only visible to you and another SkyDrive user or users which you can choose the other persons privilages on the shared file, from read only to editor this can come in handy if working on a program or such with others, and you can create public folders and files that anyone can view, but only you can wright to.

You can access it from any computer in the world that has the internet and you get a free @live.com email adress(if you dont already have an email lol)!

Also as I mentioned before you can hotlink files which not alot of places do. This is so much better than any other free file hoster its not even funny!

I've never heard of this but it's great. 5 gigs is a lot of space.

Plus you will not have to sign up if you already use MSN (I successfully logged in using my MSN info).
