this is mostly for those that left pt and didnt like it and for those that dont even know about it.

So, as everyone is now getting restless about the lack of an update, I can remember saying this:
"have no fear, an update is near."
But, that was a month ago, so you are probably right about getting anxious. So Blank and I have decided to let you in on some of the new things in this update.

New Scout Class:

AKA. The Specialist.
Has an arsenal full of chemically induced awesome, all packed into one, nice rifle. Has the same cool look as the scout, but the new cool features of being able to shoot poison darts, and some other nice bullets.

Something to win for:
There will now be ranks involved, and it is as complete as the army's. So now when you kick some serious arse, you can now show it off with a shiny new medal.

Sure, that is only two things you now know, but
1) it is 2 more things than you knew before,
2) rest assured there is also a lot more fine things coming *cough cough more solid game-play

So hopefully that can tie you all over for a bit, because we still need to do a little more work.

Blank101 promised PG that he would CTF to our game a long time ago! Now, instead of doing that, he made a ghetto stick arena and added CTF THERE! Wtf, mate?

I make suggestions on the PG forums so that PG gets updated, not so Blank makes a suckish game out of suggestions that don't work well together

blank does care but guess what? all the users complained and suggested they wanted new guns/grenades/gameplay and etc and guess what? they got it in pt, pt was made for everything the users wanted and now since they got it they dont want it and want pg updated? makes no sence... how can you drive a car in the way pg is and throw grenades. wouldnt work out. in pt you can do thoughs things except drive a car for now :P who knows. people wanted something and they got it. they have it and now they dont. people these days... pg is great and fun but sometimes you need more then 1 great thing and different sections.

If we add grenades, camping will be crazy. It would ruin arena, since you just throw a grenade over the hill and suddenly camping is twice as bad, as well as the game being laggier than ever. Also, if we do add grenades to PG, it should be custom games only, and an option.

Blank created PT to try something fresh and new. All good game designers experiment with new things. I don't think that he will leave PG though, he knows that the majority of his fans are on PG.

Stick Arena has way more players than PG. That is because it is a public game, and people must like it more, even with all their hackers.

So PT, basically stick arena, is not public, and is still in beta. Perhaps when it is released, Blank101 is hoping that it will be as big as stick arena.

You usually hold the lever down in your hand before throwing it.
Resulting in about 3 seconds of time till it blows up.

I'll take your word for it that Blank has things planned for PG, but I'd rather hear that from Blank himself. It takes all of 2 minutes of his time to post a thread, and considering how things are going now, that would do wonders.

I can live with the fact that PG won't be updated for a while, provided that I KNOW, for a fact, it will be updated eventually.

EDIT: @ Hamo, Blank's been working on PT for about a year from when it was released. The mods played the game for a few weeks, then Private Beta lasted for around 2 weeks, then Open Beta started early because of some idiots starting to leak it..

you know, most of you guys are pissed off. we mods understand that. we aswell can get pissed off aswell because most of us put countless ours of our life into pg and to see where its heading is a pain in the arse. mostly all of us mods are always bugging blank for something new in pg/pt constanly having him patch exploits and glitches sometimes it takes time but most of the time he fixes these things with out you guys even knowing. but for pg we have tried so many times to get him to give the community a update but for you guys it seems as if it can happen so easily, but its not.
