View Full Version : MMORPGs? On a Vista, 222 GB Comp?

So yeah. I've been looking into downloadable clients for a while now, dating back to my last comp (35 GB Laptop...), and I figured, should I download one now?

Now my Dell... Vista... thing.... originally had 222 GB in it... with all the other stuff that comes with Vista, it has 191 GB left... if I download one of those average sized, 1 GB clients for a MMORPG, would it slow my computer down, or would it not even affect it majorly?

Also, I've just noticed that the MMORPG I want to download is only 617.2 MB....

It shouldn't slow your computer down.

Since you have 191GB left and you only take away one,

not much would happen.

Hard drive space shouldn't effect speed.


If you have less than 2 gigs of ram in vista though you might notice a slowdown.

So if your slowing down in vista just get more ram.

my parents are so goddamn stupid they think that just because i got about 2 gb of grefix things the computers lagging lol

and to you:
if you have that much space go ahead and download that mmo.

Why ask lol, you could download WoW, Crysis, Oblivion, etc etc and it wouldn't effect it

Uhhh before you go start buying games make sure you have a good enough graphics card.
