ok i was surfing the net earlier an, all of the sudden i somehow downloaded this anti virus BS an then i try an delete it an i cant cuz there an error message that comes up saying "you cannot delete this program cuz you were in the middle of something an you might loose your info". an my background on my screen it has a message that's from windows WARNING spyware detected an it wants me to install virus crap an i am not gunna do it cuz i dont want it so don't tell me to, an not only that i can't X out of it cuz that don't work
an if you tell me to clear my cache an restart my comp, your just plain retarded, cuz this is more than that
so any ideas?

Can't you use spybot? That's what I used when I had this crap. Or what you could do is reformat you're computer (don't do it unless anything else don't work)

well, I know one solution,


1: crack your fingers, pretty important

2: Hit your head 67 times on a hard wall to prepare then

3: insert the windows xp/vista installations disc

4: format your pc

5: repeat number 2 until formatting is done.

Ugh. This should be moved to Tech. Anywho, your computer is infected with spyware. This is what you should do.

Go and download Smitfraudfix.exe Click Me! (http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php) This is where you can download the program and how to use it. You may have a rouge anti virus on your computer and saying "YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED! LET (WHATEVER ROUGE ANTI VIRUS) DELETE THE INFECTIONS!". Never click No or Ok. Click on the "X". Also you have Adware. This is annoying and hard to get rid of.. Now download a little friend of mine I like to call SUPERantispyware! Click Me! (http://www.superantispyware.com/) Run a complete scan after you have used Smitfraudfix.exe. Ureonmyhitlist, just curious, do you have norton? I would say you download a very good antivirus/antispyware/antirootkit called Avast! Click Me! (http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html). Download it and then after download, it askes you if you want to scan on boot up. Select YES. It will ask for the computer to restart click YES. Your computer will restart and it will scan your entire system. When an infection has been found, it gives you an options. Click delete. After you've done all this, run a HiJackThis scan. Copy and paste in this thread or message Kaspersky to see if it is fine.

restart your computer, get everything erased off of your computer i think its called (system restore?) thats what my firend tells me anyway :)

Oh Henry, System Restore 99% Of The Time Is Disabled If You Are Infected With Spyware, Adware, Viruses, Rouges, Etc. <.<

I know im late and its resolved but... Alot of the new viruses let you do system restore yet they put the virus in ur registry in a way that it will isntall even after the sys restore. so that don't work anymore =-/

Okay if you got rid of it.. just to make sure. Was it called IE Antivirus? If so it's a rogue virus, it's hidden so that it tricks into downloading their stuff and eventually paying... To get rid of it if you ever have it again, i suggest you download malwarebytes anti software which is free. I got IE Antivirus before and because of malwarebytes, i got out of it easily. :D
