This is the second version of my Volcanic Ash map
I removed the top bridge from the first one and raised up the bottom bridge to the middle to increase the playing area for both the top and bottom.
I also moved 1 of the spawn spots from the bottom to the top next to the ammo crate. And made a ladder at the front so you can gain access to the platforms faster

that's pretty cool.
i don't know, it just came to me.
but how about adding something, where when a person falls, it's like a pit you cannot get out of.

I don't like the double ladder used to get to the top refill and the higher spawn point. (Personal Preference)
Work on your refill placement (The two nearest the middle cause screen-switch refil battling...)
Nice and simple. The way I like it

The ladder makes it more difficult for people to climb up there for camping. It is possible to get up there but takes a long jump or ladder jump to get there. New players might not have the finger co-ordination to get to it but more skilled ones would.
And if you play the map the refill spot isnt really THAT close cause you still have to hop over the mound to get to it so it take more time then you would think.
But I appreciate yours and everyones thoughts so far
Edit: Oh and OneGunshot...Have you seen the tiles for volcano? Not much there for a selection. And i cant go mixing tiles cause everyone would down grade me for that

Plain..duh...the volcano selection scks on tiles, I could remove the bridge and make a volcano/mound in the middle about 5 tiles high. Yeah i know refills hsould be placed better but meh its only V2 i was think of building off this one more and more.
And yeah im gonna try and try again till ONE volcano map gets serverd.

there is a servered volcano map. the cave of fire I think.
I meant as in even with the sucky tiles, your platforms are plain
Ok i updated the map, chime in on them both and say what you think is needed.
And the cave of fire map is an assault map there are no Volcano deathmatches

Both versions of the map aren't good.
Well to me I kind of like it, it looks like great gameplay but....You have alot of unused space so I'll have to say eh....2.8/5

somewhat better.
much better to be precise. the top spawn should be on middle of platform, + add a way down through the mountain, like a tunnel, and a ladder for above.
I could try showing you this thing but in urban tiles to be more accurate.

The main reasons would be spawn and refill placement, plainness, bad use of space, and the middle is extremely boring.

Not creative.
Commonly used obstacles, such as the mountain.
Whoever is at the top of the mountain gets all the headshots.

actually I realized I could get into the spawn.
tsk tsk learn to review maps.
Eduardo, with your version the middle bridge is pointless since the way to it are F tiles, and its a 2 tiles gap so you cant make the jump

LOL your 1st neg is the result of the 2nd pos. There is a lack of tiles so i cant be very creative.
And the 3rd neg could be looked at as a king of the mountain kind of thing
