McCain v Obama

Dont flame me for making a thread like this, for it has probably been made before. I didn't want to bump an old thread, so I decided to make a new one. Lets have our own little debate. :confused:

But I wish there was a different third choice.. besides dictatorship. XD

Both of our candidates have good and bad things.

McCain basically wants to stay in the war, stay away from marriage between the same sexes, and make abortion illegal. If I liked what he said completely, I might vote for him, but he's way too old to live long enough to do anything.

Obama wants to get out of the war within a year, make our army bigger so the same people won't keep getting drafted, allow marriage between the same sexes, and allow abortion. I might want to have abortion if I got a girl pregnant, so that I could finish school. Sure, it would be our fault, but if we didn't want a kid we should have the right to say we weren't responsible enough. I don't really like guys and guys being together, but it's not like it's going to affect me directly. If some people want to get married, let them. Although I do believe that marriage is a man and woman being united, and not otherwise. We could call it something besides marriage. XD
