Yeah, I left my 42 inch Plasma TV on and went to work. The IMAGE burned into my fricken TV, so now it is like a big blue screen of death, I am so ticked off.

How can you burn an image into a plasma tv? I only thought that happened on the old kinds of tvs and monitors :\

Is it a Vizio? cause if so, those things are just prone to that

It is possible. About 2 years ago my shiny new ViewSonic LCD monitor started getting lines burned into the top of the screen, but it wasn't as bad as Poosh's case, where the BSoD was burned into the entire screen.

it only happens when you are on a image for a long time.. so use a screensaver.. lmao.. thats why its "saver" lmao.. saves your screen. that sucks though.did you have a warranty?

42 inches? That's nothing. Check out my TV: http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/5186/basement3md7.jpg

Anyway, LCD and Plasma are two completely separate things. Plasma TVs just suck, though.

Yeah guess i should of put this in my post aswell: What were you doing before you went to work to just hold it on 1 image and burn it into the screen? and like everyone else has said, get a screensaver on the next one

is 42 inches big?

(I know that sounds idiotic.

I use the metric system though.

Thats what living in Canada for 8 years does.)

There's a way to fix the plasma screen burning thing, I just don't know how, I don't have a plasma. HDTV FTW

HDTV is not a type of TV, that's the resolution in which you get your images. Learn to TV. =|
