Modest Heatran [LV. 100] with a Stage +6 Attack Modifier holding Choice Specs and 252 Special Attack Effort Values in Sunny Specs in Sunny Day conditions using Overheat on a Shedinja [LV. 1] with a Stage -6 Special Defense Modifier does:

573,200.00% - 674,300.00% Damage.

Damage Calculator;

I am assuming that is the most because Shedinja has a base HP of 1 and always has 1 HP and Heatran has an amazing base Special Attack of 130 plus it can get a Flash Fire boost which increases its Fire based Attack Modifier by +1 to further power its Fire type attacks. Overheat is also the 2nd most powerful fire type attack in the game (Blast Burn is first) and has 140 Base Power, and coming off of a Heatran it gets a same type attack boost which is a Attack / Special Attack modifier of +1. And the other Special Attack modifiers can come from a Baton Pass boost off of something that used Nasty Plot six times, so in truth Heatran has an Special Attack modifier of:

Nasty Plot X3 Baton Pass: +6
Same type attack boost: +1
Sunny Day conditions: +1
Flash Fire boost: +1
Choice Specs boost: +1

For a total Special Attack modifier of +10 total factoring every aspect of the Pokémon.

Me!

Anyways I kinda play 'professionally'... I qualified for the Pokémon 2008 Video Game Showdown Semifinals in L.A. and N.Y. but I was really busy taking some extra summer courses. Did you go? I've been hearing some stories about how nicely decorated the place was, and the big Pikachu float was so cool loooool.

I'm planning to be able to do it again except this time go in 2009 when Pokémon Platinum comes out.

Anyways...

I know all of you, deep in your heart were dying to know this... i think it's kinda cool though.

Ok... just so you all guys know how powerful this specific Heatran's Overheat actually is...

At level 100 a well trained Heatran with a Nature that raises Special Attack and a 31 Special Attack IV has a massive 394 Special Attack...

The Three Nasty Plot boosts that were Baton Passed to it increases that massive 394 Special Attack to a grand:

1576 Special Attack...

Flash Fire increases that to:

1773 Special Attack...

Sunny Day further increases it to:

1970 Special Attack...

Same Type Attack Boost Factor takes that up to:

2167 Special Attack...

And finally Choice Specs increases Special Attack into a massive:

2364 Special Attack!

Yes, when that Heatran attacked, with all boosts factored in including Sunny Day, Choice Specs, Flash Fire, and STAB that Heatran had a hyperdestructive Special Attack of 2364...!!!

Nobody understands the strategy element behind Pokemon.

Good advice too. I'll try it.

Screw gameshark, Action replay is better...

You can edit your pokemon's stats all to 999 if you wanted too lolz.
Forgot the code tho... Look it up on youtube....

Oh and Skarm, Im not THAT much into Pokemon. I barely know EV training or egg move breeding at all lmao. But I do know enough to know what you're talking about. But I dont do tourneys or travel or anything like that.

Oh and Platinum is going to be EPIC!!!!!!!! Its like a whole new game. More info/pics here: www.serebii.net (I can't get the direct link to the PLatinum page but look to the right menu of the homepage under games. Platinum should be like the third on the list, there isint much info but there are PLENTY of Pics.

Origin forme Giratina and Sky Forme Shaymin FTW!

Shedinja only has 1 HP all the time no matter what which makes the damage percentage really high.

Why Choice Specs is better than Charcoal on Heatran:

Charcoal increases the power of only Fire type attacks by 10%, which is very little.

Choice Specs increases the power of all Special Type moves by a massive 50%, which is five times more than Charcoal.

www.shoddybattle.com is a simulator that was made with Java that most 'professional' competitive players use to test teams and to practice.

Thanks for the info haha. But when I was referring to the Shedinja, I'm guessing its Sp. Def is at 1, so do you mean percentage as in out of that entire 1 HP? Or like the actual damage it does.

Oh, and I'm gonna use that site right now :D

Base HP: 1
Base Attack: 90
Base Defense: 45
Base Special Attack: 30
Base Special Defense: 30
Base Speed: 40

It is the damage it does based on the HP.
