what do you do to make your cp a little fast? we'll i just go to task manager and end some programs that i don't need that are running at times when i try to play war rock it says low virtual memory then when i ended some programs i could play :)
Yes, I would occasionally use the task manager. When you're computer has low virtual memory, it would usually update the memory by itself. If you want to create more space, try deleting unneeded programs in your control panel, then add or remove programs.

You "increase" virtual memory by closing programs your using.
I maxed out 512mb when i opened up 2 photoshops, 7 tabs on firefox, My documents, WinRar, Limewire, mIRC, and Steam.
It was cool.

Yeah that happens it also keeps you from playing online download games like Kuma war cause of low virtual memory :/

Task manager doesn't really do anything, as things are reset the next time you start up. The only thing you can do it is kill the processes/tasks that you don't need and are loading on the cpu/using extra memory that is needed, or you can set your processor affinity and tell your cpu to use how many cores or to process/not process on a certain process. how ironic.

The simplest way to make your computer faster: upgrade and put new stuff into it.

You guys shouldn't be using virtual memory. It shows how you guys are using swap/paging file memory instead of your physical RAM. Hard drives are 30+ times slower than RAM making virtual memory sluggish. This would be a reason to add a bit more memory to your system or add some type of limit on how much data can be stored on your RAM. Making big page files and swap partitions will not fix the problem. It will make your computer slower as they are just chunks of space on your hard drive put aside for use when physical memory is low.
