New Map Making stuff please!!!

I think we need some more map making materials in the map editor.
I'm trying to make a pirate ship, but it is really hard and I am being very creative to overcome that.
But we really do need some new genres and other things!!!

A few of my suggestions are:
-Rope Ladder
-Mast for a ship
-Elevator
-Vines (or ropes) to somehow swing on
-Background noises that go with a map (stormy, ocean, exploding shells, cannons, etc.)
-cannons (they don't have to work but just there for decoration)
- new backgrounds (such as stormy weather, desert, snowy blizzard, wartorn battlefield)

YEAH!!! please post your ideas.

also stuff like machine guns, if your building a bunker with an MG nest, fox holes would be cool too!
oh! destroyed tanks!
they'd make great cover, and add a good feeling of ambiance to the levels

yeah its a good idea for those backgrounds, and for tiles we should have like, battlefield tiles, boat tiles (instead of just submarine tiles) I also think there should be like broken down cars (and tanks =D). It would be pretty cool to se rope ladders too.

Wartorn Tileset:
Includes Broken Cars and Tanks, more rusty tiles, and things like bunkers, foxholes, trenches, and non-functional machine guns. Has a dreary overcast background.

i no what you do for a stearing wheele go to junk yard use the wierd gear thing sails use bricks for red water for blue cannons use some black bricks from castle best i could find flag at top de de de your team spawn point on a poll for the space set then make the ship out of boxs from urban for a wood effect thats how i did mine im like the firdt one to make a priate shipp if you need more help jsut askk

wow thats like, a mega spam right there.

-and to make this so its on topic, i suggest bigger tile parts that come together so you dont have to use each individual tile. ex: like the tree in the jungle set, you can just have a tile combination. a suggestion for a tile combination would be a bunker tile combination.

We need special effect tiles.


Ex: Ice tiles you slide on. Fire tiles you burn/lose health if you walk on them. Tilted tiles that if you land on it you slide off one way or another.

all good ideas but lag would be a large issue so no, i would like to see a MG nest and ship sail parts. Also wooden walls that would make nice ship sides and finaly a blue and a red flag the wave in the air like your guys but bigger to mark whos base it is.
