on the first one: ok so you made the background. then tried to add a c4d. 2 problems with that. c4ds are usually supposed to be used as effects for a render o stock. so you need to have a render or stock(person in your sig) before u use c4ds. the second problem is u the c4d u used still had a black background. so you need to set it to screen. which youll learn about when get better. and i think you may have saved it and then opened as a thumbnail. unless u really did want it to be that small

What image? What GFX? I don't see anything. I see a variety of colors but I don't think that could be the image.
Okay thanks for the feed back... Dom how do you add depth?
I can't see it...Haha, what program do you use to make these? Try using GIMP or soemthing. It's bigger and better =].

bonk u add depth by:
1. black and white gradient map set to luminosity
2. new layer > image apply to filters to others to high pass set to soft light
3. black and white gradient map set on multiply with 15-25% opacity
4. blur the background, sharpen your focal
5. use the burn and dodge tool
6. new adjustment layer to hue saturation, then set the saturation to -15 then set it to soft light.
7. bigger objects on the foreground, smaller objects in the background
8. use a soft brush to darken the sides
9. use photo filter
10. try Using perspective
any one of those

depth is makin it so u can tell that somthing is closer than another thing. but right now you just need to worry about making a sig. if u need any help or tips let me know. i wouldnt mind tutoring you

when you start out and u open gimp. at the top it there should be a place where u clan click: file then click new. then a thing will pop up asking you what size. the numbers are usually set to 420 by 300. i recommend changing them to 115 height and 350 width. if u still dont understand i will use pictures
