Guest Farming

Hey,

I think guest farming should stop.

This game is just turning into a guest farm zone. Where did the true spirit of the game go?

All that has happened is people are guest farming, getting millions of points.

I think that guests should have their own area where they can play other guests.

Beta is a great example. It took ages to rank up, because you were VSing quality players all the time. Now, I've seen people go from Black tri-star to blue tri-star in a matter of days.

this is currently being duscussed in bugs/suggestons. maybe you should see if you like the suggestion in there at the moment, b cuz it really is getting out of hand.

lol Antzz, no one will listen every Elite and Noob will do it. I wish it could stop and i'll maybe talk to blank about it but yea almost impossible. Suggest Guests remove from players games. We should have a petition!

I agree...I admit that i have guest farmed before...but like less than 10 games...its really annoying...i know some of the elites are trying to stay elite...but like 101 of the top 100 dont even rly deserve their rank...

Yeah, I also guest farm when I want to get an exact score, like 40k exactly on plat arrow etc for a screenie.

and antzz is right, the guest farming is taking the quality out of the ladder games with users, i hardly ever see tri stars in ladder games any more :(

guest farming promotes ranking, rank doesnt show any skill at all but to show off and it MAY describe how long you have been on pawn, if your K/D is between 2.0 - 3.75 then it MAY show some skill, anyone above that (except some elites whom have the REAL skill to get that, and it shows a graduate increase or decrease, therfore he/she has skill) may be considered a nub

I totally agree with you. The spirit of Pawn is dead. Everyone I knew when I was a noob rank is now gone because Pawn is boring or they're on pt. Guest Pharming is for the weak and only guests should be able to vs other guests.

I am totally against removing guest farming, not because its the easiest way to get high rank but due to the unstability of the game.

Ive lost my rank 4 times, twice during the huge tracker down incident, and twice for reasons i couldnt explain to you. Im assuming the tracker went down while i was in a game or for w/e reason, really im stumped....but without guest farming get back up to star or ribbon each time would be incredibly annoying, and tied to the fact you lose map slots with rank id have prolly quit the game.

So while in a perfect world id say yes, get rid of guest farming....were not quite there yet.

reason2: either way, at some point of time, you all farmed too.

reason3: if the guests play against guests, they won't learn a thing. I learned that you can shoot from ladder (yeah I know its lame, but its true) because a certain elite was farming and shot that way.

and who can forget out favorite screenshots of us owning someone as a guest?

half the guest that are just beginning arn't going to learn any thing :\ they don't even know how to type, most of them don't even look at the controls
and i never farmed
and they won't learn any thing if they get Head Shot each time they spawn by a pro that is guest farming

I personaly think Guest Farming drives away new players, when pro's rape them all, the guests dont wana play because of the fear of the fact that they might get hit again by those pros

OR

guest farming drives away new players because it makes them mad at how they cant get a kill, and they think its a "hacker" game, and drives them away

either way i think reduces the number of guest signing up, therfore reducing future lag
