No there isn't, but there is a law requiring the bus driver to keep all students on the bus until designated to.

The bus driver just did her job, school districts are required to have strict rules for driver conduct as to where kids have to get off, had she just let her off she could have prevented a conflict, and still have been sued and fired. She did her job by trying to keep the student on the bus. That girl was so immature about the whole situation, and took things too far.
