I haven't written stories in a while, so I decided to continue the "The Nazi Invaders" story. Enjoy.

The Nazi Invaders – The Sniper

When the grenade went off, everything looked all pixilated. Everything was spinning and I felt dizzy. I landed on my back in the crater, hoping that the Germans wouldn’t come over and shoot me on the spot. When everything was balanced again, I looked to my right and found a barrel in my face. The German shouted something, and tried pulling me up. I was guessing he wanted me to surrender. I slowly got out of the crater and put my hands up. The others were running towards me.
When all the remaining Germans were grouped up together, one of them pushed me so I feel on my knees. Behind me, I could hear them cocking their MP40’s. They’re going to execute me on the spot… I closed my eyes, hoping it would end soon. CRACK! Then something fell behind me. The Germans suddenly ran to find the nearest crater to find cover. Confused, I hid back in the same crater I got out of. CRACK! Then came the sound of pain from one of the Nazi soldiers. There were two other Germans left. They both ran off to retreat, but one ended up getting shot in the back. The last one was gone in a flash. I was still confused, so I just sat there in the same spot.
A few minutes later, I heard more footsteps. Oh no! They’ve gotten more reinforcements! I quickly turned around to find to my surprise that it was a young woman with a sniper rifle.
“You are lucky I saved your life before they shot you in the back, comrade.” She said.
She gave out her hand to help me get out of the crater. I strongly grabbed it, and was a little shocked to see that my hero was actually a woman. She kindly ordered me to follow her back to HQ.
“So… what’s your name comrade?” I asked.
“Lieutenant Tanya” she answered.
It got quiet for a while, until we heard shouting off in the distance, and the sound of machine gun fire. We hid along a wall, and peeked around the corner. We saw a squad of Russian soldiers pinned down by a German machine gun. Tanya quickly ordered me to follow her into a building flanking the machine gun post. We ran up a flight of stairs until we were one floor below the roof. She simply ordered me to sit down tight. I found a spot in one of the rubbles and got a little comfortable. Tanya was patiently waiting for the right moment to fire. The machine guns stopped to reload, and Tanya took her chance. I quickly stood up to see the Germans. The gunner laid dead on his machine gun, while the loader ran for cover. Tanya quickly reloaded her rifle, and waited for another shot. The German was stuck behind a brick wall. He was doing something, but we weren’t sure what he was doing. Next thing we knew, a Panzer IV appeared.
“Panzer, take cover!” Tanya ordered.
I put my hands behind my head, and crouched down into the rubbles. Tanya quickly fell down besides me. We then heard the Panzer shoot off a shell at the Russian squad. When it reloaded, we heard another shell being fired off. We heard a loud whistling sound. It got louder and louder until the next thing I knew, I heard an explosion and I was on my back losing consciousness…
