Shoot yourself thinking your invincible. ETC. It also contain some cancer causing chemicals that cigarretes have. Smoking 5 joints a week is equivalent to someone who smokes 1 pack of cigarretes a day. So if you continue to smoke weed you will most likely have cancer. There is also this thing called over-dosing. This can put you in the hospital, put you in a coma, or worst, kill you. Although weed isn't as bad as other drugs such as meth, or heroin it can still cause horrible things to happen to you.

There are no none recorded cases of people dieing from brain cells "suffocating". People dont think they're invincible or drive cars into walls. mostly they get really hungry. Now the Cancer thing. This all depends were you get your weed from. If you get it from some foreign country, then yes, it will probably have chemicals in it. But places in the US and canada grow it naturally and do not have fertilizers or pesticides in them. I know maaany people who have smoked weed for at least 20 years and dont have cancer. Also, You can't OD on Weed. Its just not possible. You would have to smoke more then twice your body weight of weed to OD.

the thing about this drug , like all things that require moderation, is that in the hands of fools, it can lead to nothing but trouble. Give people the right to smoke whatever whenever, they will complain about the fact that they can not smoke wherever or worse yet, they will try and sneak wherever. And further more, it is usually these same kind of people that produve multiple offspring.
I believe that marijuana, PCP, LSD and the others are so taboo because of history. Beer brewing techniques and equipment date back all the way to ancient Egypt and the tobacco plant has contributed a significant amount to the economy of American states like Virginia in its early days.
All the drugs that are taboo today have a similar history:

Ok, before I close this thread can everyone stop flaming. Its a simple question and flaming isn't necessary. If its that personal, don't post at all.

Anyways, in my opinion, all drugs are stupid. I think living a life under the philosophy of being "clean" or "drug free" is a life that anybody can enjoy. Excuses such as "its good for me" or "I need it" is practically negligible and I can tell youexactly why. Most druggies are addicted and cannot stop, so they find an excuse to fill the void.
They can't say something like "I cant stop" or "im addicted" because it shows their true weak side. How did everyone once start?

Guy1: Dude everyone does it, cmon just once.
Guy2: Alright man

And bam, msot people cant stop after the first hit. The first joint or the first cigarette or the first drink.

I've tried it. Don't get me wrong, I understand the reason why you get addicted, but I life the life of being the stronger one. The one who can say F that, yknow.

I'm not trying to say that everyone should be clean. I'm not spreading any word or anything. I'm just saying that being clean is the way to be, IMO.

I mean, I don't care if you do it or not. i'll just feel some pity for those who do.

From what I've read it does everything but kills you. Psychological issues, mental and physical problems, health problems, and other.

Those problems lead to death. So sure. you can say weed doesn't kill. What weed causes to your body kills you.

I play hockey and football and soccer, best on my team in all because the people that grew up rich and and cool smoked a lot and they have breathing problems and can barely run 2 miles.
Some can abrely run like 5 minutes because of weed.

Weed was not made illegal because it killed someone, it was made illegal because someone found it was useful for medical purposes, they also found out it made you feel good. It went underground, people sold it illegaly and it was then all out banned.

Weed can be addcitive to some people, but not all. I was never addicted, because I never felt the "need" to smoke weed.

And weed does cause health problems, such as trouble breating, imbalance in hormones, and other things including Lung cancer.

Yeh but if you smoke over time, Your lungs are going to be covered in Tar. The NBA players smoke, but over time there will worsen.

I've been doing it in random intervals for the past three months. I stopped feeling the smoke in my throat after the first month and the high is pretty great. And contradicting the beliefs of most modern people marijuana is not addictive, the high is. I have yet to start using any real drugs and I probably won't.

Ugh...Yes, I only do it when I need to get calm. I've smoked it like 3 times but i'm under control. The 3 times were for calming me when my grandma granpa and uncle died. (Seperate)

But weed isn't addicting and you can't overdose. Really its not half bad. But only do it when you need it. If you want to look cool go find friends. Your not cool if you smoke weed. Also you need less amounts of your depressed when you take it.

For all you nutjobs (Captainplanet and Camron) Its not a dangerous drug. Yes it can give you lung cancer and mess up your life. But thats if you take it in huge doses. What schools and advertisments show is people who are weed hounds. People who can't get enough and want more. Usaully are addicted to other drugs. Thats usaully 1 out of 20 weed users.

Pot is a DOWNER and an UPER. (Depresses people and cheers others up)

Pot has different effects on people. Which is why it has not been classafied as a downer, gateway, uper, kicker, etc. Because it effects people differently.
