Daggerfall release year=1996.



Daggerfall is arguably the greatest game ever created. It is be far the most open ended game, it is roughly 2x the size of great britian(in square miles), and has more features then most modern games.

Halo 1 is awesome. Most Halo fans overlook Halo 1 because they complain it has bad graphics compared to Halo 2 and Halo 3. Of course it has bad graphics compared to those games, but in gameplay, I'll pick Halo 1 any day. The first in a series or sequal is usually the best.
You can't compare Halo 1 to Daggerfall. They are two separate genres of games.
