The witch doctor looks like it's just a rehashed necromancer, IMO. The game looks great but the environment only appears partially destructible. I was expecting the bridge in the very beginning (before the official declaration of destructible environments) to crumble.

:(

Oh well. The game looks like it will be fun regardless. I hope the story is good.

I hope I can at least run it on minimum settings atm.

All I have to say is that it looks good. Possibly going to have a huge impact on D2, but since so many people invested their time in D2 I'm not sure. Seems there is also going to be plenty of gaming during daylight. It doesn't seem like much but I actually dislike that idea, because it takes away from the general atmosphere that Diablo is known for. I would've liked it if that was kept to a minimum, but if they can pull it off, then that's just as well. Witch doctor does look cool though, like a beefed up and more Convenient Necro.

I was iffy at first but I really can't wait to play it.

I'm guessing the new gameplay will balance class more.

I don't know if you played d2 but once the expansion came out hammerdin paladins could kill anything, making all other classes obsolete.

yes I have played D2 before, for a long time. It was mentioned before somewhere that I did. I don't distinctly remember hammerdin's changing the rift however. I knew plenty of people of differing classes who were powerful, and could mutilate in PvP's and PvM's. D2 was about customization, so it varies depending on people. The one thing that probably could have used work has already been fixed if I remember which were the White rings and Hex charms.

Things have probably changed from when I've last played, I hardly remember anything. Maybe I'll buy D2 again, shouldn't be too expensive, but again I would like to try D3 so I'm stuck in a quandary about it.
