Sadly that is the point of the game. It's not like other games where you can still fair well with whichever weapon you choose. That's because there is a better gun. That's not to say you can't own with a "weak" weapon however, but under pawn physics it's more difficult. That and some people are too scared or stat-obsessed to even want to try using a Mp5 against someone with an M-29.

And why the emphasis on the Ak as the noob gun? That needs some explaining.

I highly suggest that if you dont like auto "noobs" then get familiar with
