It's because most people do the opposite in real life. Such as Pawn for example. You see a game named 'DONOTENTER' and it's full of players. There's a 'No Turn On Red' sign on the side of the street, people honk and yell at you to turn when the light is red. So, it basically wants those people to push the button when it says 'Do Not Push' because they are always curious on what it does.
