Welcome to the first annual International Pawn Open. A tournament to test your skills and to come out on top of the rest. The International Pawn Open is going to have 8 teams. Each with 3 people. When you sign up choose what team you want to be on. Teams with missing people at the time of the tourney, will not be accounted for. The team battle will go on whether your teammates come or not. At the assigned dates, a room will be open called: InterPawnOpen. Go there. Me, Sele, and Eleet are in charge, so please cooperate and do not talk when we are giving directions. Or we will kick you from the tourney. There are no weapon restrictions, so feel free to use any weapons. Also, the games will all be team deathmatch. If you and you're opposing team agree that you want to play an assault map, pm me, Seleucid, or Eleet along with a screenie of the assault map chosen.


The Rules


1. No swearing. This includes puttings ***'s or any other buttons to cover up your words.
2. No racism/slander.
3. No flaming/insulting other members.
4. No adult links/pictures.
5. No spamming/flooding.
6. No warez.
7. English must be used at all times in the main chat.
8. No Mod/Admin impersonations.
9. No cheating/hacking. If you find a critical game exploit please report it directly to a game administrator.
10. Advertising is only allowed for non-profit organisations. (Such as clan forums)
11. Do NOT ask to be a mod. If you ask to be one you will be forfeiting any chance you might have had to become one.
12. Do not abuse the report function, meaning do not make false reports.
13. No offensive material allowed.

Team names must be agreed with the whole team.
Fillers are now part of the teams if the whole team agrees.

Team 6 (M.I.S.T): Buffoldguy, Fallintears, Fl1p

Team 7 (1337 team): Venstro, Sketchz, SAH6292

Team 8 (GOD): Skullbad, Jake1337, Sadistic


Game Dates and Times:

1st Round will be held on June 16, 2007. Around 6-8 Eastern Time (US and Canada). Maps: Arena, Beast, Center Conflict, and Derivation of Woe.

2nd Round will be held on June 17, 2007. Around 6-8 Eastern Time. Maps: Castle Wars and New Amazon (Seleucid's new map. http://pawngame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6367)

Final Round will be on June 23, 2007. At 6-8 Eastern Time. Map: 1vs1 (another map by Seleucid)
The 1v1 map is a surprise, so if you want to see it then you are just gonna have to win.

We will probably do this again earlier due to the popularity of it. I'm sorry we can't make the teams larger. That is because of the lag problem. The Open will most likely happen again before a year ends. Probably another month later which will be larger. This is what we hope. We did have a talk about adding teams, and thought it would be best to keep it how it is.

Guys I just thought of it to make sure no one cheats by saying there team won every captian is to take a screenie of the score bored at the end of a match.

Good idea, I'll keep the game map updated (as you see i added the team names), but i will need who wins after the matchs.

NOTE: PM me after the match, tell me the scores ( The winning team is enough, but give the scores in case) and a screenie should be provided so I kno you are not cheating. Although i trust you, it would be better.

That also bring up the idea that blank should have a "spectator mode" in which players can watch the action, and focus on specific players, but not be able to play themselves. That'd Be cool. XD
