I decided to give Gimp another try, but it's still way to complicated for me.

Problem one:
Uhm, I can't add brushes..
I download them, then put them into brushes folder on gimp, but they're not there :S

Problem two:
Whenever I try to get a render, there's that big black box filling in everything. How do I get rid of it. lol.

Thanks >>
I'm a total noob.

For the render thing, if you get them from planet renders, keep clicking the image till you see one with a white background, save that one, and resize to what you want.
Love your avatar btw :p

Oh..
Thanks for the quick help! :D

Np, glad to.
It took me a long time to figure that out by myself a while ago.
I was getting all like, GAH WTF! THIS SUCKS!
And brushes thing happens to me when I run it off my flash drive, but I never really found out why.
I think it was cuz it was searching my c drive for the brushes and it was saved on I drive removable disk, is your gimp program file in your C:\ drive?

Yea, it is..I think. I was snooping around, and I think I may have
figured it out. EDIT: Nope, didn't find it. I have no clue wth I'm doing :x.

Also, how do I upload what I made? I can't run it through imageshack.

EDIT:
Figured out the brush problem, didn't downlaod them..just right-clicked and saved LOL.

Need help from changing to the format Gimp makes into to something imageshack can handle.

the brushes you have to open the dialog (the little window not the panel) and refresh it..then the new brushes should be there.
