A. No way that security guy takes McLeod. The mans a beast. Darren "My wife left me because i look like a monster" McCarthy couldn't even take him.
B. The pisshead threw it on the ice, its only fitting that the Avs be able to throw it right back. I'm just surprised the fan didn't pull a gun and open fire. I mean, cmon, it is Detroit...

I love it that Detroit's mascot is a slimy, ugly octopus. What could be more fitting.

they throw a octopus onto the ice becuz it represents how many games detroit had to win to win the cup...getting to the point there were 6 teams when the NHL was created 2 teams from the western conference 2 teams from the eastern conference and if its takes 4 wins each series so...lets say detroit beat toronto another original six team in 4 games and then they would be going to the playoffs alright...so lets say they play boston another original six team and sweep them in 4 games what does 4+4=Well ill tell ya it equals 8...how many tentacles are on a octopus...8 they throw a octopus on the ice to represent the games it took to win the stan when there was only 6 teams...i hope this clears things up a bit :)
