this is a day to say thank you to your mods and not bombard them with junk that is not needed. Without them pawn would not be held together. So take a minate to say something nice to your mods and mabye give a cool sig. i will be making mod appriciation day userbars so pm me if you want one

You do sound like what you said. The moderators and Chosen Ones have no patience whatsoever due to under-appreciation and many rule breakers.

In my opinion that is what they need to practice.
Being courteous is going to get you further in life then being a total arseface to whoever breaks rules. Its best to warn someone before the kick, and then if htey continue to break the rules; kick them.

I do that all the time and have a lack of patience now. Seriously, I've always thought when I became a mod, I would be the best one ever (just, lenient, etc...).
Holy crap am I wrong. I get to boot people and have a status a bit lower than mod. But heck, my job is pretty hard.

I understand. It can get frusterating, but you have to remember these people you're kicking may be new to the rules. And have never heard anything. They need an explanation of what they are doing wrong, so that they can learn from their mistakes. :(

Many mods do that but again it is their responsibility to read the rules. Besides, about 50% of the time we tell them the rules, they insult us in return.
Everybody thinks they'll make a great mod until they actually get a taste of the responsibility.

I feel sorry for you cause when you, or any other chosen eight or mod, kick someone they come back a few seconds later, and they keep
spaming/ flaming again and again... I've seen this personally...
That's why I think 80% of the time they don't really need, let alone deserve, a warning...
So I want to thank all of you for putting up with all of us :D

i agree with you puffer the magic dragon, some of the mods are jerks and really dont care about us, i only like a few mods such as firstmate, i mean i got banned for saying 'greb is not online alot anymore' as a reply to someone saying he is their fav mod in the thread 'most respected member'

Well they obviously havent read the rules, so get the link and pm it to them. If they are new, do everything to help them. If they are repeated offenders then just kick em without the warnings.

you realise that this is a game, rules are continuously broken.
mods do a good job but the only reason people obey the rules these days; are too become a figment of power (mod), or just to be close friends with a higher authority. (if that makes sence..?)
i dont care if you disagree, but it's true that moderators only do as they please.. why? because they can.
i have no problem with that but they really need to listen to the users more,EG. stop banning over personal issues and ban more for rule-breaking..
what i mean, is mods are good at there job but they use their 'powers' over personal issues too much.. and even they break rules (only human) so people need to stop sucking up to mods as if they do NOTHING wrong because i'm telling you: they do.

personal issues: previous arguing before becoming a mod.. hating somebody for being themselves.. not being co-operative with a user just because he/she has a history of infraction(s)
that kind of stuff.

If anybody thinks that mods\"chosen ones" don't care about users, you are dead wrong. They were users themselves and if they didn't care about users, they wouldn't go on Pawn to protect users from being insulted or kicking spammers to reduce lag.

i will be honest i hate pretty much allthe mods except buffoldguy, bilehd and Sk8URDEAD theyre misuse their power, fo rexample i got kicked infractions 3 different times bu 3 different mods for one spam post!
