White glowed against the pale, eerie light of the moon. Red dripped from it greedily, as the pale, deathly creature baring the white fangs grinned devilishly. The moon stared in awe at this creature. It was a vampire. The vampire looked at the moon, it's ally, it's friend, and knew he was safe under it's subtle protection.

Chapter 1, Darin Bludd.

Darin looked at the sun, and gave a low hiss. He shouldn't have spent so much time feeding, but it was SO good. The warmth of the sweet liquid squirting into his mouth, the primal thrashes of his victims massaged his teeth, as the warm sweet medicine healed his tongue and his body as well. Vampirism was one joy after another. So what if people payed for it, innocent animals payed for the crimes of humans, slaughtered for what? A coat? Foolishness. They shun him, him of all people. There are far worse, like those scum, the werewolves. He spat at the ground, the sun's warm, hating light slowly but surely creeping in through the window. He hated it. He hated it all. The day was the time where people lived, unaware of what is really going on. They live, no, bask in their ignorance. They just wanted a perfect world.
"I got news for ya! THERE IS NO WAY TO GET A PERFECT WORLD FREE!" Darin shouted, rage and hatred flowing through him. The suns rays pierced his skin, burning at what was left of his flesh. The vampire writhed in pain, then moved out as soon as he got control. Darin glared at his little shack, and wished he had more. He sighed. Such were the problems of being a vampire.

Carin looked happy, blissful. The dead bodies provided her with sustenence, even if it was from them. She scowled. Those foul creatures just left the dead bodies there. No respect for nature. A werewolf was the way to be, abiding what should be the true course, not just leaving them to rot. That was not the humble, honorable way. That was torture.

Carin scowled. Whoever did this had to pay. At night. That's when it would all come together. That's when that beast, no, beasts are better, she thought, then continued her thought, that's when that... monster will pay for their crimes.

Carin howled primally. The hunt would continue. The other werewolves heard the call, and unfortunately, so did Darin.

Chapter 2, The hunt is on.

Darin realised he would need a disguise, some sort of way to hide. He stepped out into the light, hissed loudly, then ran quickly. The wind rushed through his hair, as the sun continued its assault on his poor skin. He took a nearby left turn, and went into a building. A man watched his filthy television. The light stopped. He snuck up behind him, and bit him extremely hard, so hard infact, his head fell off. He took the now disconnected head, and used his mental abilities to brainwash it. The head turned blue for a second, then was lifted promptly on the body. Darin was in this man now, and could become a vampire at any time. Those werewolves he heard earlier would have to die.

Carin looked around, nervously, and saw a slightly plump man. Food. She realized it was morning light, but she still had her fangs. She charged, then looked again. He was... not evil? Was that it? Not food? Something made him seem better then just food. She sighed. No bother. She leapt off the building, and tumbled into a roll. The man glared at her, with suprise and annoyance. She laughed, trying to conceal her lycanthropiety.

John tried to fight back into his body. He had to. This thief stole his body. Evil. He hated him, or her. He was ready to kill himself if he had to, if it meant keeping his reputation at stake. He finally got a glimpse of what was to come, and saw a strange woman. He growled to his mind, "Leave her alone!", but the mind laughed, and started to take control. He blacked out.

~~~~
Darin looked at her.
"Hi, what is your name?" Darin asked.
"Carin, why?"
Darin looked puzzled. What an odd coincidence. What an odd person.
"What do you do?"
"You could say i'm a naturalist," she said, then laughed.
Darin knew the term. This body could die. He called in his inner DNA to take work, and the body instantly grew longer fangs. He howled in pain. Darin remembered the horrible pain caused by this, teething, I guess he could call it. She jumped back, and ran, unnaturally fast. Darin knew she got away. He didn't bother, not worth it. Just then he remembered the searing pain, he twitched, then died.
~~~~
Carin immediately changed her features with her inner mana. Yes, mana was important. Vampires and Werewolves both contained inner mana, which is the true matter of life, and with inner mana, they have the ability to control their own being. Mana was of the essense. Carin knew vampires. They didn't hunt. Too lazy.

Darin awoke, and searched. Hated this. The sun. If only he could get rid of it. He looked around, and leapt from his window. He felt a minimal pain, but survived. He crashed through, and saw a much more wealthy person. He grinned as he took over this body. This one could be useful.

How do you like this story so far? As you can see it's about vampires and werewolves. It gets a lot better.
