The disk tray started opening and closing by itself, my fps went up to like 23, my ms went down to like 12...?
It has NEVER EVER FOR NEVER EVER been any where close to that good, and I almost beat a pro maze about 6 times in a row.(Dang short laddered ladderless)
Buuttt, I tried to fix it, I kicked my tower a couple times, and it didn't do nuttin'
I started beating my dog with a hose, then my arm got tired so I stopped thinking and grabbed a soda...any help?

First, check that no CD's are in your computer. Then go to the Control Panel. There are a few things to check there like: System, Default Programs and Options. If you cannot fix it I recommend going to the Backup and Restore Center and it will change your computer to while it was last seemingly having no problems.

The last time it didn't have any problems was...the day we got it from factory.

The problem most likely isn't with programs. Chances are its a hardward issue. I don't know much in this area :\
But try to see for any defects

You need a pro to help you and thats what I'm here for :), Ok look the main problem is that the files in that driver are corrupted and thats why your disc drive opens and closes by itself. To fix this problem do this, uninstall the drive by clicking on my computer and go to devices with removable storage and right click it then click on properties, after that go to the tab that says hardware and click on properties again. After that go to the tab that says Driver and than hit the button that says Uninstall. Make sure that after you do this to restart your computer so that it can automatically reinstall the driver. Good luck and I hope this works for you.

Well....
I sorta fixed the thing opening by itself, I kicked down really hard from the top, then up, it almost hit me in face.
I DON'T have an anger issue, it was just really pissing me off.
Everytime it closed, my computer spent 6 minutes trying to find a disk...lagged me up, for the first 20 minutes it was doing my speed SHOT up from 6 fps to 23...
