.edu= an educational institution's site
.org= a non-profit organization's site
.gov= a goverment agency's site.com= a company's site
.net= a buisness's site
.com= companies site

.gov isnt always a government agency. It can be an authorized organiztion.
.com does not stand for company, its stands for communication
.net is not always a buisness site, explosm.net for example, is non-profit and is not a buisness
You obviously did hardly any research on this
