View Full Version : My Second ever map!

Ok so my first ever map didn't go so well. But i made a new one. Its bigger and the background is 4. Every destructible tile (the ones in the underground beside ladder and one at the main wall on bottom of the fortress) has 500hp. Please tell me what i need to fix (if any).

Too many problems.
read the map making guide.

~The map isn't symetrical.
~Too many ladders.
~Tiles do not match.
~Screen glitch.

Dude... You read the map making guide, An assault map isnt supposed to be symmetrical.

Some people don't know how to rate maps.

That is a pretty nice map for a first.

Cut down on the refills and make the platforms shorter, that is a start. Don't get too rushed.

wow thanks a lot. and yea this is an assault map. i will do exactly what you said, puffer. That is the sort of criticism i like. i will update this later.
oh yea and what is the screen glitch? i do not know what it is but if i find out, i may be able to stop people form using it in my map.

Is VERY good for a second ever. Like you said fighting me, the platforms in the trees need to be fixed.

Other than that: 8/10

this is pretty good for just a second map just i dont understand the whole bottom of the map. kinda random.

you try a bit to hard, tone it down a little with the refills and good overall map

no offense you act like your the best map maker in the world. its not as bad as you say. assaults are rarely symmetrical(like 1 outa 50). i Also thing he was trying to use 4 different tile sets.



just a tip- Destructible blcoks inside buildings with the grey space tile will be bad when destroyed because it leaves 2 squares of the background, thats ugly

lol yea that was fun.

And i did fix the tree thing. And the bottom of the map is supposed to be an underground route....kinda like mario...im just kidding. And i also took away some ammo things. And yes i do try too hard...i thot that was a good thing. Anyway i hope you guys liked it. im still wondering about that screen glitch. How do you do it? (not that im gonna use it but i gotta counter it in my map.) Tommorrow i will post my updated map. And no actually red does not always win. You should play it sometime, qwqwq1w2.

ok honestly this is a rly good map for ur 2nd 1 and dont listen to dz cuz he doesnt kno wat hes talking about still. but less refills and just keep posting updates here and we will help u get it to become 1 of the best assault maps. maybe better than famous june map? O.o

thanks for your support. im gonna make a new thread (if thats allowed) for my updated version. And i still need to know the screen glitch or what causes it. Im gonna maybe make my update rite now.

ok so this is my new updated version of my map, Fortress Assault. Is that a good name?
anyways i think all those problems are fixed. there was one problem where a guy could attack the artifact from the bottom floor of the fortress! so i fixed that. I wonder if there are any more problems? i hope not. Please keep those comments and criticism coming in!

I didn't see it the first time.
In that case, too easy for red team to win.:D
